Lindung 24 (SKBBK) for Employees in AutoCount Payroll HRMS
Lindung 24 (SKBBK) for Employees in AutoCount Payroll HRMS

Lindung 24 (SKBBK) is PERKESO's new 24-hour accident protection contribution, at 0.75%, fully borne by the employee. AutoCount Payroll HRMS automatically calculates it for every employee from June 2026 payroll onward — no setup needed.

The new function is available only in the new UI. It is enabled by default for all employees.

Update (8 July 2026): Following a Cabinet decision, SKBBK contributions are now voluntary for Malaysian/local employees, effective immediately. The scheme remains mandatory for foreign workers.

  2. Go to Employee Maintenance.
  3. Open Statutory Requirement > SOCSO & EIS.
  4. Tick SKBBK Exempted.
  5. Save.

Follow the same steps and untick SKBBK Exempted. The employee will go back to automatic SKBBK calculation on the next payroll run.

Notes

  • Only apply the exemption if the employee has genuinely chosen another employer for SKBBK contributions, based on your company's policy and the employee's consent.
  • The SKBBK function is available in the new UI interface.
